Emerson Center for Weight Loss
Instead, we work closely with patients in an understanding and supportive way to help them overcome health challenges and set them up for lifelong success. The surgeons and team are persistent with developing strategies and solutions to help patients succeed.
Our Patient Care Approach
Emerson performs more weight loss procedures than any program in New England. This results in positive and safe outcomes for our patients. The center’s two bariatric surgeons are among the best in the field.
Not only do these experienced physicians have the medical expertise from performing nearly 10,000 bariatric procedures, but they have the deep compassion, kindness, and problem-solving acumen that patients need for long-term success.
In addition to the surgeons, the Center for Weight Loss includes an experienced gastroenterologist who is trained in bariatric endoscopy, dietitians, social workers, patient navigators, physician assistants, financial counselors, and other staff who have the same patient care philosophy as the surgeons – they are here to support patients and help them achieve their goals. The entire team works in the same office all under one roof, making it convenient and efficient for patients, and contributing to the warm, supportive environment.
Our office and equipment are designed for optimal comfort and privacy for our patients. The office is located on the first floor of the building, with convenient access from the free parking lot, and no need to climb stairs.
Simply put, patients have an entire team of experts on their side to help them reach and often exceed their health and lifestyle goals – for life.
